I tried to fix the oil tank once but the notch I made to weld in wasn't deep enough. So I get to do it all over again. I suppose I just didn't take into account my chain stretching a bit. And since the first welds were right up against my drain and main feed, I get to relocate those bungs to the other side of the oil tank. Fun stuff.
I received the first issue of Show Class magazine today with a sick t-shirt. It looks rad! It's good to finally see some scum bag shit in a biker magazine again because who doesn't like T & A??
I went out to Springville, IN today and had some threaded bungs made by Kent Miller. I'll probably have him make my front axle too.
So, the guy who I bought the shovelhead from got it in Hawaii. Here are some photos he took around that time. Except the top one of him driving the beast. I believe it was around 1981.
My buddy has these sick 1958 three and a half gallon Fat Bob tanks for sale. Paint job is original and period. We threw them on for shits. I'll be running a different tank set up though.
